hi my name is phelokazi gagelo, a female 1st year uwc ess student. i was born in cape town khayelitsha and i still live there. iam now 19 years of age. i started primary level at sosebenza primary school then did my high school iat matthew goniwe memorial high school. i chose to do ess because i have never really been into close contact with nature and ive seen all the advertisements talking and preaching awareness and i decided to try and understand why they care so much about it. i joined ess because i also want to have a hand in understanding nature so that i can also contriute to these awarenesses. to my surprise, i have noticed that my attitude towards nature has changed tto. i no longer just walk all over plants and stuff like that now. im a new person
